White Party Ksamil: the Night Everyone Dresses for

Every Sunday, Greg Beach turns completely white. What to expect, what to wear and why there are actually two white parties a week on this coast.

Every Sunday from 11:45pm, Greg Beach in Ksamil hosts the most elegant beach party of the summer: live DJ sets running through commercial, house and dance hits, premium cocktails, the beach a few steps away — and every single person dressed in white. The official listing puts it plainly: wear your best all-white outfit and become part of the magic. Tickets start at €15 and sell in batches, so the earlier you book, the less you pay.

And a second one at sunset

If Sunday feels too far away, there is a second all-white night: The White Party — Sunset Edition, every Tuesday from 8pm to midnight at Lost Seaside, on the coast road between Saranda and Ksamil. Same dress code, completely different energy — golden hour over the Ionian instead of midnight sand. Last entry is at 9:30pm, so do not treat the start time as a suggestion.

What the White Party in Ksamil actually feels like

Here is how the White Party in Ksamil actually unfolds. You come down Rruga Fan Noli towards Greg Beach and you can already tell who is going: everyone walking your way is in white. Doors are from 11:45pm, and the first stretch is deliberately slow — people arrive, order, take the photos they came for, drift towards the sand. The islets sit out there in the dark, and with August highs averaging around 31°C nobody is cold at that hour. Then the DJ pulls the room together: commercial hits first, house and dance later, the floor filling in one visible wave. From there it runs late into the night. The mistake is turning up at 2am expecting to skip the boring part — by then the good spots by the sand are taken and you have missed the hour that makes the night feel like yours.

Sunday at Greg Beach or Tuesday at sunset?

Two white nights, two completely different plans. Sunday at Greg Beach starts at 11:45pm and belongs to groups: sand under your feet, a late finish, and the kind of night that assumes you have nothing to do on Monday morning. Tuesday at Lost Seaside is the sunset version, 8pm to midnight on the water between Saranda and Ksamil, and it suits couples, anyone travelling with people who will not last until dawn, and anyone with a boat or a flight the next morning. Lost Seaside also happens to be a restaurant with a seafood and sushi kitchen, a small pool and jungle-styled decor, so you can eat there and stay put. Both start from €15 and both take the dress code seriously. If your week allows it, the honest answer is to do both — the same colour at golden hour and at midnight is a completely different feeling.

Build the whole Sunday around it

A party that starts at 11:45pm rewards a well-planned day. Spend it in Ksamil: the beaches run from Ksamil Beach to Lori, Paradise, Bora Bora and Puerto Rico Beach, a sunbed with umbrella for two costs €10–30, and a kayak out to the islets is around €10 an hour. Eat early, roughly €10–12 for a full plate, then sleep for two hours — that nap is the difference between leaving at 1am and staying to the end. Take cash in lek, about 95 to the euro, because the euro is accepted at a worse rate. Sort a local SIM or an eSIM too, since EU roaming does not apply in Albania and you will want a working phone when it is time to arrange the way back. And when we say all white, we mean the shoes and the bag as well — this is the one night of the week where half the effort is visible from the door.

How to do it right

Total white means total white — not off-white, not white-ish, not white on top only. Flat shoes win on sand. Book the exact date you want online (batches sell out and door prices are higher), and plan your ride: Ksamil buses stop around 8pm, so for the Sunday night at Greg Beach arrange the taxi back in advance.

White Party dates & tickets
