The Best Beach Clubs in Ksamil & Saranda (2026)

Ksamil gets called the Maldives of Albania for the water — but stay past sunset and you will see why we built a whole season here. Within fifteen kilometres of coast you have white-sand beach clubs, an infinity pool inside a windmill, a rooftop resort pool and open-air clubs that run into the early hours. These are the partner venues where our events happen, one by one.

Greg Beach Club — Ksamil's party beach

Beachfront on Rruga Fan Noli, looking out at the Ksamil islets. By day it is a beach club; by night it hosts our White Party every Sunday from 11:45pm and the LA FRENCH nights — French Party and Marrakech — billed until the early morning with DJ Njoya, DJ Adryy and DJ Ond. Mulino Beach & Lost Seaside — the sunset pair

Mulino is built on the rocks at the north edge of Ksamil, with the bar inside a real windmill and a saltwater infinity pool that seems to pour into the Ionian — the stage of our Latin Pool Party, 6:30pm to midnight. Lost Seaside, on the coast road towards Saranda, is beach, bar, restaurant and lounge club in one, and hosts The White Party — Sunset Edition every Tuesday from 8pm: total white, golden hour, sea a few metres away.

Which Ksamil beach club fits your plan

The Ksamil beach clubs sit so close together that the useful question is not which one is best, but which one matches the day you have in mind. Sand, swimming and a group of friends: Greg Beach, straight in front of the islets. No sand at all — rocks, a saltwater infinity pool, Balinese beds and a jetty to jump off: Mulino, at the northern end. A slower day for two with a private beach, seafood, sushi and prosecco on the front row: Principotes. A day with no real end, from 6am to 3am on white sand: Poda Lounge Bar. Sunset and a proper dinner without moving anywhere: Lost Seaside, on the coast road towards Saranda. And if you are based in Saranda and would rather not travel, the Bougainville Bay rooftop pool and Mango Beach Club keep the whole thing in town. For budgeting, a sunbed with umbrella for two costs €10–30 and a full restaurant meal around €10–12.

A full day at a Ksamil beach club, hour by hour

Get there before midday if you want a bed in the front row, especially in July and August, when the coast is at its busiest and August highs average around 31°C. Bring cash: prices are in lek, roughly 95 to the euro, euros are taken at a worse rate, and the smaller bars are cash only. The morning belongs to the water — three of the four islets facing the beach can be reached by kayak, about €10 an hour, or simply swum to, and Ksamil sits inside Butrint National Park, so this is protected coastline rather than a resort strip. Lunch runs around €10–12 for a full plate. From mid-afternoon the volume creeps up, and by 6:30pm the sunset events have already started — the Latin Pool Party at Mulino runs from 6:30pm to midnight, from €20. That is the handover point: the place you swam in becomes the place you dance in.

Getting there, getting back, and what first-timers get wrong

Saranda and Ksamil are about 15 kilometres apart, 20 to 25 minutes by road. In summer a local bus runs every 20 to 60 minutes until roughly 8pm and costs 100–150 lek, cash only. Taxis have no official tariff: expect €13–40 depending on the season and how you negotiate, and always agree the fare before you get in. That single detail is where most first-timers slip — they plan the way there and not the way back, then discover at 1am that the bus stopped hours ago. The other classics: turning up with cards only, assuming EU roaming works here (it does not, so pick up a local SIM for around €25 at the airport or an eSIM from about €3.50), and leaving tickets until the day itself. Entry is sold in batches — Early Bird, First Batch, Second Batch — and every time one sells out the price steps up. Booking early is simply cheaper.

Principotes, Poda & Bougainville Bay — luxury and late nights

Principotes is Ksamil's luxury beach club — private beach, statement statues, a crowd that compares it to Mykonos — and every Saturday it becomes The Wolf of Wall Street from 11:30pm. Poda Lounge Bar, on the white sand of Poda Bay, barely closes: beach loungers by day, open-air club by night, home of Love Night and Bad Bunnies. And in Saranda, the rooftop infinity pool of the Bougainville Bay resort hosts our Infinity Sunset Pool Party every Thursday, 7pm to midnight, overlooking the sea towards Corfu.
